Tencent WorkBuddy launched the "Back-to-School AI Inclusive Special" on September 1st, offering free AI credits to college teachers and students nationwide to improve efficiency in higher education scenarios.

From now until October 31, 2026, full-time undergraduate students at ordinary universities across the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) can complete student verification through the official WeChat mini program of WorkBuddy to get 1000 credits; from now until September 30, 2026, in-service teachers at all levels of schools can also receive 1000 free credits after verifying through the "China Teacher" mini program of the Ministry of Education. The gifted credits cover high-frequency university scenarios such as information retrieval, exam preparation, essay writing, career consultation, and teaching and office work.

This special action is not only the implementation of computational power inclusiveness but also a deep integration of product ecology with campus scenarios. Previously, during the summer, the "Treasure Campus Skill Competition" attracted 416 universities and 874 student creators, generating 1,176 practical campus Skills covering departmental knowledge bases, course selection guides, and lab manuals through natural language generation.

Building on this, WorkBuddy has further launched AI expert avatars covering multiple fields such as exam preparation, job hunting, and troubleshooting, and has jointly launched 33 experts and 15 plug-and-play teaching Skills on the Tencent Penguin Teacher Assistant, comprehensively covering lesson planning, research, and parent-teacher communication.

In terms of connecting online tools with offline ecosystems, the "Tencent WorkBuddy Campus Open Day" from September to October will visit over 100 universities for on-site experiences. In addition, the platform has launched the "AI Pioneer Teacher Incentive Program," selecting teachers with connectivity and creativity to be certified as WorkBuddy Nova Teacher Ambassadors, providing credit incentives, practical skills training, professional network exchanges, and product co-creation rights, promoting the priority launch of high-quality teaching Skills and expert avatars.
